An anti-state (or at least anti-boring) double show beginning with Sidney Hauser delivering a set of exciting original music followed Noah Pettibon presenting his quintet with Jay Thomas celebrating the music of 1950s Detroit.

THE baritone saxophone event of the year in the PNW! Promoting their album “Boss Baritones” (SteepleChase, 2024), New York City bandleaders Gary Smulyan and Frank Basile will give a clinic (1:30pm) and concert (7:00pm) with pianist Tim Kennedy, bassist Michael Glynn, and drummer D’Vonne Lewis.

These events will abut four sets starting at 4:00pm by four Seattle baritone saxophonists, Noah Pettibon, Sidney Hauser, Alex Dugdale, and Calvin Rey with pianist Roman Goron, bassist Kelsey Mines, and drummer Matt Jorgensen.
